Elefeed is a client application used to access and view content on the Mastodon decentralized social network. Elefeed does not host, store, or control the content that appears within the application. All posts, media, and user accounts are hosted on independent Mastodon servers operated by third-party administrators.
Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation
Elefeed has a strict zero-tolerance stance toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors. Such content is illegal and harmful, and we strongly support efforts to prevent and report it wherever it appears.
Content Moderation
Because Mastodon is a decentralized network, moderation is handled by the administrators of the individual servers that host the content. Elefeed does not control these servers and does not have the ability to directly remove or moderate content hosted on them.
Reporting Harmful or Illegal Content
If you encounter content that may involve the exploitation of a minor, you should report it directly to the administrator of the Mastodon server where the content is hosted. Most Mastodon servers provide built-in reporting tools or administrator contact information.
In addition, if you believe illegal content is present online, you may report it to appropriate authorities such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or your local law enforcement agency.
